Wang Shouyu, Ph.D., professor, Ph.D supervisor, Executive Vice Dean of the School of Space Science and Physics.

Prof. Wang Shouyu received his Ph.D degree in Particle Physics and Nuclear Physics from Jilin University in 2005. Then he worked as a postdoctoral fellow at Peking University from October 2005 to June 2007. In July 2007, he started teaching at Shandong University, Weihai, and was promoted to professor in 2011. In the past years, he had won many awards, including the National Outstanding Youth Fund, Shandong Outstanding Youth Fund, Hu Jimin Education Science Award and 2016 Top Ten New Scientific and Technological Figures in China. He started to serve as the Executive Vice Dean of the School of Space Science and Physics from June 2018.

Chi Tao, Master of Arts, associate researcher, Secretary of Party Committee of the School of Space Science and Physics.

Ms. Chi Tao graduated from the Department of Computer of Shandong University in 1987 and started to work at Shandong University, Weihai after her graduation. From 1987 to 2018, she served successively as the tutor and Deputy Secretary of Youth League General Branch of the Department of Computer, Deputy Secretary of Party Branch of the Department of Marine Biology, Deputy Director of Student Affairs’ Office and Director of Career Development Center, Secretary of Party Branch of the Department of Marxism-Leninism, Secretary of General Party Branch of the School of Translation and Interpretation. In 2018, she was appointed Secretary of Party Committee of the School of Space Science and Physics.

Chen Yao, professor, Executive Dean of the Institute of Space Science of Shandong University, Vice Dean of the School of Space Science and Physics.

Dr. Yao Chen is the main founder and PI of Laboratory for ElectromAgnetic Detection (LEAD, since 2017.12) which is aimed at developing state-of-the-art technology and instrument for radio bursts in the solar-terrestrial space; he is the founder and first director of Center for Integrated Research on Space Science, Astronomy, and Physics, Institute of Frontier and Interdisciplinary Science at Qingdao, Shandong University (CIRs-IFIS-SDU, since 2019.5). He was awarded the Jeoujang Jaw Outstanding Young Science Award in Space Physics (2017), the Youth Innovation Award in Space Weather Science and Technology (2016), the May-Fourth Youth Award (Nomination) of Shandong Province (2014), the Excellent Teacher Award from the Bao Gang Education Foundation (2012), the Fu Min Xing Lu Labour Award from Shandong Province (2012), the Basu Early Career Award in Sun-Earth systems Science from the AGU-SPA section (2008), the Youth Award in Science and Technology from Shandong Province (2008), and the Excellent Doctoral Dissertation Award of China from the Ministry of Education of China (2006), etc.

Hu Shaoming, Ph.D, professor, Ph.D supervisor, Vice Dean of the School of Space Science and Physics, winner of Shandong Outstanding Youth Fund.

Prof. Hu Shaoming received his Ph.D degree from the National Astronomical Observatory of Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2007. From February 2009 to January 2011, he engaged in post-doctoral research at Max Planck Institute for Extraterrestrial Physics and the Observatory of the University of Munich in Germany. He paid academic visits to the Observatory of the University of Munich twice in 2014. His research results won the Second Prize of Natural Science of Yunnan Province and the Award of Outstanding Scientific Research Achievement in Shandong Province. He himself was selected into the first Young Scholar’s Future Plan Cultivation Project of Shandong University. Hu started to work at Shandong University, Weihai from July 2004. He was promoted to associate professor in September 2008 and professor in September 2015. In June 2018, he was appointed Vice Dean of the School of Space Science and Physics.

Lv Yingbo, Ph.D., associate professor, master’s supervisor, Vice Dean of the School of Space Science and Physics.

Prof. Lv Yingbo received his master’s degree at the School of Physics and Microelectronics in September 2001 and began to study for his Ph.D. degree in the School of Physic from September 2009, in Shandong University. He started teaching at the Department of Applied Physics of Shandong University, Weihai in October 2004 and was promoted to associate professor and Deputy Director of the Space Science and Physics Experimental Teaching Center in September 2014. In June 2018, he was appointed Vice Dean of the School of Space Science and Physics.

Li Ye, Bachelor of History, Deputy Secretary of Party Committee of the School of Space Science and Physics.

Ms. Li Ye graduated from Changsha Normal College of Water Conservancy and Electric Power in 1993. She started to work at Shandong University, Weihai from 1994 and then worked successively as Deputy Director of the Student Management Office of the Department of Continuing Education, Section Chief of the Discipline Inspection, Supervision and Audit Office, Section Chief of the Personnel Management Office, Deputy Secretary of Party Branch of the School of Space Science and Physics. In 2018, she was appointed Deputy Secretary of Party Committee of the School of Space Science and Physics.

Du Meng, Master of Engineering, Executive Vice Dean of the Institute of Space Science of Shandong University.

Mr. Du Meng graduated from the School of Information Engineering of Shandong University, Weihai and started to work at the Office of Scientific Research there in 2007. From September 2015, he served as the Director of the General Affairs Office of the Institute of Space Science of Shandong University. In June 2018, he was appointed Executive Vice Dean of the Institute of Space Science of Shandong University.
