Lulu Fan is a professor in the Institute of Space Sciences, Shandong University. He received his bachelor degree from University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) in June 2004 and his doctoral degree from International School for Advanced Studies (SISSA) in October 2011. He then worked as a postdoctoral scholar at USTC and Chalmers University of Technology (Sweden) before he joined Shandong University in 2015. He was supported by the Natural Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars of Shandong Province and the National Science Foundation for Excellent Young Scholars of China in 2018. His main research interests are galaxy structure and co-evolution of galaxies and their central supermassive black holes.
